Documentary: 20 Years of World Soundtrack Awards 25 Oct 2020
We have produced an eleven-minute documentary, directed by Mathijs Poppe, about twenty years of the World Soundtrack Awards. The documentary combines both archival material and new interviews with among others Angelo Badalamenti, Dirk Brossé, Jacques Dubrulle, Ennio Morricone and Maggie Rodford. Check it out below!
World Soundtrack Academy establishes new rules for World Soundtrack Awards eligibility 23 Mar 2021
The World Soundtrack Academy, the premier organization preserving and celebrating the art of film music, has announced rule changes for World Soundtrack Awards eligibility. Most importantly, scores for feature-length documentary films will from now on be eligible for the WSAwards for Film Composer of the Year, Discovery of the Year and the Public Choice Award.
