Vincent Cahay

Vincent Cahay (1973) is a composer, musician and actor. After studying dramatic arts at the Liège Conservatory, he performed in various theatrical productions. From the 2000’s, he composes music for stage and cinema. In theater, he collaborated among others with Pietro Varrasso, Isabelle Darras, Mathias Simons, Vincent Hennebicq, … He wrote and performed live music with Pierre Kissling on the shows Tristesses and Kingdom by Anne-Cécile Vandalem. In cinema, he began his collaboration with Fabrice du Welz in 2004 on Calvaire which premiered at Cannes. He also worked with Frederic Fonteyne and Anne Paulicevic (Filles de joie), Just Philippot (La nuée), Liliana Cavani (L’Ordine del tempo), … In 2024, after Calvaire, Alleluia, Message from the King, Adoration, and Inexorable, Vincent continues his partnership with Fabrice du Welz on Maldoror.
