Vanessa Donelly
Vanessa Donelly is an award-winning composer working across film, games, and theatre, with a strong focus on collaborative storytelling. Her musical approach is shaped by close dialogue with directors and creative teams, allowing each project to develop its own distinct musical language.
Her film work includes THE ANGEL IN THE WALL, starring Pierre Richard, winner of the Vespertilio Award for Best Film Music in Rome (2023), as well as the WDR feature film LOUMA and the cinema production HYGGE. In addition, she has composed music for television series such as ARD’s AM PASS and ZDF’s SOKO LEIPZIG. Alongside her screen work, she also writes music for theatre and musical, including THE THREE MUSKETEERS (Luisenburg Festival) and 1000 TALES, and works in the game industry. Her next game GHOST HAUNTING she is producing will be released in January 2027.
Her upcoming movies are ESTERTOR by Pablo Pagan (Spanish Coproduction), BALLAD OF THE SKELETON by Murat Ugurlu (Turkish Coproduction) & DEUTSCHE VITA by Lena Fakler.
