Laetitia Pansanel-Garric
Winner of the 2025 World Soundtrack Public Choice Award at Film Fest Gent for the original music for the animated film Hola Frida directed by André Kadi and Karine Vézina and the Revelation Film Music Composer Award at the Arcs Film Festival in 2022, Laetitia Pansanel Garric composes, orchestrates, arranges, and conducts original music for numerous film and audiovisual projects.
Instrumental playing is part of her musical approach and she likes to vary her compositional techniques and play the many instruments she has in her studio to enrich and infuse her music with their timbre.
Laetitia thus composes scores that are powerfully lyrical thanks to her taste for orchestral music, but to which she also blends intimacy or folklore depending on the needs of the image.
She recently composed the score for Irène Iborra Rizo's animated feature film Olivia, which was selected for the official selection at the 2025 Annecy Festival and will be released in France in January 2026.
In 2024, Laetitia collaborated with director Abigail Schaaff on the original score for the fantasy drama L'Home Dels Nassos. She also composed a score with an electronic flavour for the series Patience mon amour - Saison 2, directed by Camille Duvelleroy and currently broadcast on Arte.
From the score of Pamfir by Ukrainian director Dmytro Soukholytky-Sobtchouk, selected for Directors' Fortnight at Cannes in 2022, to that of the short film A point by Aurélie Marpeaux nominated for the 2023 César Awards, as well as the original music for numerous documentaries such as the film Rochefort, Marielle, Noiret: les copains d'abord by Pascal Forneri for which she won a 2023 U2C Award (Union of Composers), Laetitia enjoys working within varied artistic universes.
Committed to the values of transmission and live music performance, Laetitia Pansanel-Garric continues to dedicate her time to conducting concerts and film concerts with the Lyon 2 University Symphony Orchestra, which she has been conducting since 2013.
