Christophe Beck is behind the score to the Golden Globe®- and Oscar®-winning film Frozen. The Frozen soundtrack certified Platinum 11 weeks after its release, selling more than 1 million copies, and spent five non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Beck’s other work includes the blockbuster Hangover trilogy, Due Date, Date Night and Pitch Perfect. He staged the drama for such films as We Are Marshall, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Under the Tuscan Sun, and indie films Phoebe in Wonderland, Saved!, and the award-winning documentary Waiting for Superman. In addition to Frozen—which earned Beck an Annie Award for best score—other work includes Marvel’s Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd, Shana Feste’s romantic drama Endless Love, Doug Liman’s Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, Andrew Niccol’s thriller Good Kill starring Ethan Hawke and Daniel Barnz’s drama Cake starring Anna Kendrick and Jennifer Aniston, Twentieth Century Fox’s The Peanuts Movie, Sisters starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Trolls starring Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, Twentieth Century Fox’s crime-thriller American Made starring Tom Cruise and Domhnall Gleeson, The 12th Man directed by Harald Zwart, and Reveal Entertainment’s An Ordinary Man directed by Brad Silberling. Beck’s other work includes the Marvel action sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp, the Netflix sci-fi-thriller Anon starring Amanda Seyfried and Clive Owen, Columbia Pictures’ Holmes & Watson starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, the Netflix adventure comedy feature Christmas Chronicles, the Paramount Pictures’ comedy Like A Boss, the Disney animated adventure sequel, Frozen II and the Marvel Studios TV Mini-Series WandaVision. Upcoming for Beck is the Fox action adventure comedy Free Guy starring Ryan Reynolds. The Canadian composer began playing piano at the age of five, studied music at Yale and attended the USC film scoring program under the tutelage of composers like Jerry Goldsmith. He started composing in television at the personal recommendation of Disney music legend Buddy Baker, and was soon writing for the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, earning an Emmy® Award.
