Arthur Wang

Arthur Wang is a composer, arranger, and music producer from China. Wang gets different influences from Film scores, Jazz, Electronic, and Pop music. Trained at the Communication University of China, Eastman School of Music, and Michigan State University. His music has been performed by ensembles and performers in the United States and Hong Kong, such as the American Modern Ensemble, Jasper String Quartet, Reverón Trio, Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, West Seattle Community Orchestra, the Michigan State University Symphony Orchestra, MSU Wind Symphony, Eastman Empire Film and Media Ensemble, Eastman Jazz Ensemble, Eastman Jazz Lab Band, BIODANCE, etc. He’s a first prize winner of the 2019 Shanghai International Electronic Music Composition Competition. Other awards include the Denny Award, the Global Music Award Bronze Medal, the Musicacoustica-Beijing Electronic Music Composition Competition Awards, the ASMAC David Blumberg Prize, finalist in the 2022 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award, 2024 European Recording Orchestra Call for Scores 2024 Top 10, etc. Wang’s recent game music compositions include the award-winning VR game Zong, which helped the game win the Best VR Award at the Swedish International Film Festival in Sweden, as well as the Best VR Award at the New York International Cult Film Festival in the USA.
