Born and raised in Batumi, Georgia (EU). Ana began studying piano and violin at age 6. At the same age, she composed her first piano composition, which was inspired by a picture.


In 2020 Ana won the World Soundtrack Awards SABAM award for Best Original Composition by a Young Composer. She is the first female composer to win this award.


In the same year, Ana took 2nd place at Krakow Film Music Festival Young Talent Award. She is the first woman in the competition’s history to reach the top three.

​In 2018 Ana won the 2nd edition of the International Soundtrack Composition prize organized by Juan Gil Family Estates which has the largest prize in the world for a contest of this type. The jury was chaired by Patrick Doyle. A winning piece - “The True Treasure” was performed by the Film Symphony Orchestra at Auditorio Victor Villegas in Murcia.


In 2017 Ana was selected to attend the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis in Los Angeles. During this month-long program, she recorded and conducted her original 3-minute cue for Scott Derrickson's "Doctor Strange" at the historic FOX Newman Scoring Stage with a 64-piece orchestra.


In 2014 Ana was awarded the Howard Shore scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music Valencia Campus. One year after she received her Master of Music Degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games from Berklee. During the time of her studies, Ana had the opportunity to record her music at Abbey Road Studios with a 51-piece orchestra, with the Budapest Art Orchestra, with musicians in Valencia at Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia, and at Ann Kreis Scoring stage.​


She was selected by the Berklee Faculty of Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games as the recipient of the Outstanding Scholar Award (G'15).


In 2015 Ana won a California Independent Film Festival (CAIFF) Film Scoring Competition, named as Composer of the year, for scoring an eight-minute movie - ‘Bridgebuilders’.


In addition to film scoring projects, Ana also devotes her time to songwriting as well.


Ana Kasrashvili is a member of ASCAP as well as the Alliance for Women Film Composers.


Recently she has been working on various orchestration projects.
