With a background as a saxophonist and extensive experience in the live music scene, Snitker has developed into a sought-after composer for national and international feature films and television series. His work has been honored with, among others, two Buma Awards, an Ensor, and three Golden Calf nominations. The short film I Am Not a Robot, directed by Victoria Warmerdam and featuring Snitker’s score, received an Academy Award (Oscar) in 2025.
