Marlon Espino

Marlon Espino is a multifaceted storyteller whose music is as diverse as his distinctive voice. Known for his cinematic artistry, Marlon’s compositions seamlessly traverse a variety of film genres. Early in his career, he collaborated with three-time GRAMMY-winning composer Mark Mancina, contributing to celebrated scores for Disney’s Moana, Planes, and Planes: Fire & Rescue, later returning to lend his talents to Moana 2. Marlon also partnered with Mancina on Clint Eastwood-directed films Cry Macho and Juror #2.
Born in West Texas, Marlon was surrounded by music from an early age. Inspired by his grandmother, who taught him piano, and his father, a saxophone and keyboard player in the group Chicano Brotherhood, Marlon’s love for music grew naturally. He went on to study music and composition at Texas Tech University, solidifying his passion for storytelling through sound.
Marlon’s scoring credits include Inheritance starring Lily Collins, Simon Pegg, and Connie Nielsen; Every Breath You Take with Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan; and Cellar Door for Lionsgate Pictures. His distinctive style continues to captivate audiences across diverse projects.
