Marina Elderton is an award winning composer for film, TV and theatre, based in London UK. Further projects include Royal Television Society Award winning documentaries, and internationally acclaimed animations and shorts. She has also composed commercially for the likes of Vodafone, Rimmel, Cadburys, and Tesco. A scholar from The National Film and Television School, her practice combines experimental textures with traditional instruments. Her artist project "ELDR" is supported by the PRS Women Make Music Foundation, releasing her debut EP 'Defender' in 2019 alongside a sold out show at St. Pancras Old Church. She is now planning EP 2. Marina is currently a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers. ‘At once holistic and individual, her techniques are drawn from sound manipulation and electro-acoustic music, as well as more contemporary digital sources... The industry is in need of such original and creative practitioners.’ Peter Howell, BBC Radiophonic Orchestra
