My name is Marie Sabbah I studied classical and jazz music in music schools in France, got rewards for pianist performer , writing and composing arranging and orchestrating music ; At the university I got the diploma of musicologist specialized in cinema. I first worked as pianist player, then music teacher in music schools, In 1980 I became musician copyist for composers like Gabriel Yared , Ennio Morricone, Georges Delerue, Philippe Sarde, etc…. I created my first company in 1993, as music producer and publisher, for all kind of music then specialized in film music. Today my agency called Marie Sabbah Agency is offering all kind of services in film music industry – composers’ agency, score production, music supervising, and copyright control for composers and publishers. The composers agency contains 20 talents : working as much on documentaries, feature films, animation films, TV series ; in different aesthetics of music : classical, jazz, contemporain, electronic , pop, rock , songs , all composing and performing original music. They have distinguished themselves in international competitions : Cyrille Aufort winning in 2018 an Emmy Award with music from March of the Penguins 2 The next step – Nathaniel Méchaly winners 3 BMI Award with music from Taken , Taken 2, Taken 3 , also winning Asian Awards with music from The Grandmaster directed by Wong Kar Wy – Pierre Adenot , Eric Demarsan winning The Grand Prix Sacem for their career (French Society of Authors’ Rights). Etienne Forget winning last year a Jerry Goldsmith Prize with TV series Missions. The agency represents also 2 famous music supervisors, Varda Kakon and martin Caraux, 2 big arrangers/orchestrators, 1 best female singer – Gaelle Méchaly - singing beautiful film melodies for Gabriel Yared , Michel Legrand, and Vladimir Cosma, and 1 famous pianist player Thomas Enhco… “If music be the food of love, play on” – William Shakespeare.
