The siblings Diego Baldenweg with Nora Baldenweg & Lionel Baldenweg are a Swiss/Australian composer team.

The Baldenwegs are a very versatile team and have composed unique scores for a wide range of different film genres.

Their contemporary sound often blends theme based orchestral compositions with a palette of unique instruments and electronic sound scapes.

Over 20 scores have been composed for films such as the world bestselling children’s book adaptation and box office hit „The Little Witch“, the international remake of Til Schweiger’s box office hit “Head Full of Honey” starring Emily Mortimer and Academy Award Nominees Nick Nolte & Matt Dillon, the Oscar nominated “La Femme et le TGV” starring Jane Birkin as well as “The Reformer Zwingli” for which they were nominated for “Score of the Year (Public Choice)” at the World Soundtrack Awards.

Most recently they have composed the original score to the Irish Western “In the Land of Saints and Sinners” directed by Robert Lorenz and starring Academy Award Nominees Liam Neeson, Kerry Condon & Ciarán Hinds.

Their original scores for TV series like “The Unlisted” (Netflix/ABC), “Itch” (ABC/BBC) and “Born to Spy” (ABC/BBC) have each earned them an Australian Academy Award nomination for “Best Original Score in Television”.

The Baldenwegs have worked with acclaimed musicians and orchestras and collaborated with the likes of maestro conductor Dirk Brossé, David Zinman, Paavo Järvi, Roberto González-Monjas, Kevin Griffiths and star violinist Daniel Hope.

They are voting members of the World Soundtrack Academy since 2019.
