She currently teaches at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași, where she is actively involved in courses such as composition, counterpoint, and film music. As a film composer, Izabela has been recognized internationally, becoming a finalist of the Young Talent Award at the Krakow Film Music Festival 2025, and a member of the Ghent Film Music Academy. She was also part of the Alliance for Women Film Composers in 2024 and is a junior member of the Romanian Composers’ and Musicologists’ Union (UCMR).

Deeply engaged with the promotion of contemporary music, she is the coordinator of the Meridian International Festival of Contemporary Music in Iași and founder of TimbrIS, a contemporary ensemble dedicated to innovative projects and new music repertoire. Through these initiatives, she has brought together composers, performers, and audiences in fresh dialogues about sound, experimentation, and cultural exchange.

Her creative voice blends sensitivity and intellectual clarity, whether in writing music for film, concert works, or in her educational projects. With a vision that connects tradition to innovation, Izabela is shaping a distinctive artistic path—one that bridges Romanian cultural heritage with the global landscape of contemporary and cinematic music.
