Davide Pavanello
Davide Pavanello is a multi-platinum musician, songwriter, and music producer, and one of the most eclectic figures in the contemporary Italian music and film scene.
He composed and co-produced, together with Margherita Vicario, the score for Gloria!, a film presented in competition at the 74th Berlinale and produced by Tempesta Film, Rai Cinema, and Telefilm. With Gloria!, he received four of the most prestigious Italian film awards: the Nastro d’Argento for Best Original Score, the Globo d’Oro for Best Original Score, and two David di Donatello awards for Best Original Score and Best Composer.
His latest work is the score for STRIKE – Children of a Wrong Era, the directorial debut of Gabriele Berti, Giovanni Nasta, and Diego Tricarico, produced by Paco Cinematografica and premiered in the Zibaldone section of the 43rd Torino Film Festival. He also composed the scores for Io e il Secco by Gianluca Santoni and Night Swim.
Davide Pavanello is also known by his stage name Dade. He is the founder of Linea 77, has worked as a producer for artists such as Elodie, Max Gazzè, and Psicologi, and is currently the official bassist for Salmo, performing with his band Le Carie.
