Agata Grabowiecka, Cultural Manager, Programme Planning Department Manager at Krakow Festival Office, one of the biggest public cultural institutions in Poland, and also The Manager of two biggest Krakow festivals – Krakow Film Music Festival and Sacrum Profanum, has graduated from the Jagiellonian University (Faculty of International and Political Studies, Journalism). She started her career at the most prestigious PR agencies in Warsaw including Headlines, Porter Novelli doing projects for Warner Bros. Poland. Between 2005 – 2006 she was an assistant spokesperson at “Wisla Krakow SSA” (recognized as being the best Polish soccer club at the time). Then additionally worked for the local radio as a reporter.

At present, she produces Krakow Film Music Festival and is responsible for its international collaboration. She coordinates the concerts, represents the Festival, meets the composers and invites the industry to Krakow. She is one of a few experts in Poland who specializes in obtaining licenses for film footage clips screened for concert purposes; she negotiates with the leading studios in Hollywood (including 20th Century Fox, Miramax, Disney, Warner Bros.), Asia (Studio Ghibli, Inc) and Europe (Constantin Film AG). She is also programming master classes for young film music composers at Krakow Film Music Festival.

Additionally, she programs open-air musical events in Krakow i.a. Wianki - Midsummer Festival (including 2011 edition with Wyclef Jean) and New Year’s Eve concerts at the Market Square (2010 edition with Kelis). She also negotiates contracts and makes arrangements with the artists for Misteria Paschalia and Sacrum Profanum festivals. She’s contracted Portishead band for a concert that was announcing the 11th Sacrum Profanum Festival in Krakow, in June 2013. November 2013 she was awarded with a scholarship for Cultural Managers in Berlin by Goethe-Institut.
