‘The Artist’ – or how a small, silent black-and-white film conquered the world in 2011. A gamble for director Michel Hazanavicius, who came with his gem of a film to Belgium to record the music. Together with Ludovic Bource, he camped out for a week in Studio 4 at Flagey, and the rest is now history. Five years after the recording the dream team is getting back together for two live performances in Brussels, and you get a chance to attend the concert on Friday 9th of September.

‘The Artist’ was the hit of 2011, and won almost all the big prizes in the industry. The infectious music, which can be regarded almost as an extra actor in the film, would become one of the most acclaimed soundtracks in history. The dream team - Brussels Philharmonic, maestro Ernst van Tiel and composer Ludovic Bource on piano - will get back together for two live performances in September with the movie shown on the big screen.

Film Fest Gent gets to give away three duo tickets for the concert on 9th of September.
