The Walk's film music to premiere at the WSAwards

Music Director Dirk Brossé will lead Brussels Philharmonic in the world premiere of Alan Silvestri's new score he wrote for Robert Zemeckis' latest film 'The Walk' starring Jospeh Gordon Levitt at the World Soundtrack Awards. One of the songs will also be included in Film Fest Gent's upcoming Alan Silvestri Album.

Alan Silvestri is the central guest of this year's 15th edition of the World Soundtrack Awards on 24 October 2015. Film Fest Gent annually releases an album with work the main guest of the #WSAwards in collaboration with Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Dirk Brossé. 'The Walk' will also be featured on Film Fest Gent's upcoming Alan Silvestri Album. You can support the album through FFGent's crowdfunding campaign at Indiegogo.

Returns include a signed album by Silvestri himself, your name in the booklet, VIP tickets to the WSAwards an others. The greater the contribution, the more you will receive. Backers can also vote for a bonus track they think is missing on the album! A budget of €12,500 is required to finance a share of the recording of the album.
