Film Fest Gent announces album 'Marco Beltrami: Music for Film'

In line with tradition, a selection of the World Soundtrack Award's main guest's music will be recorded for the annual 'Music for Film' album. Some of Marco Beltrami's best scores will be recorded on August 19th to 21st, in Flagey's legendary Studio 4, recorded by MotorMusic with Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Dirk Brossé.

The album will include tracks and unique suites from Snowpiercer, World War Z, A Quiet Place and so much more, and will be released during the festival by Silva Screen Records.

From now onwards you can register via the Film Fest Gent and World Soundtrack Awards websites to obtain your copy. Get an autographed album for 15€ when ordering your tickets for the concert!
After September 30th, the album can only be purchased through Film Fest Gent's webshop for €20.

On October 18th, the World Soundtrack Awards will welcome Marco Beltrami as honorary guest, two-time Oscar nominated composer and one of the most brilliant film composers of his generation, known for his unique collaborations with some of the world’s most respected and iconic filmmakers such as Kathryn Bigelow, James Mangold, Guillermo Del Toro, Wes Craven, Bertrand Tavernier and Tommy Lee Jones.

Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Dirk Brossé, will perform the original scores accompanied by film clips on the big screen.
