Edition 2026
The WSA Workshops are the ideal opportunity to gain insight into the methodology and artistry of a seasoned professional. During this session, Dispatch composer and producer Andrew Arcadi, nominee for the Game Music Award, shares his working process and views on the art of video game scoring with a small group of participants.
Best known for his contributions to video game music, primarily for scoring Ad Hoc Studios’ Dispatch and Telltale Games’ Minecraft: Story Mode, Andrew leans on an unconventional approach and what he calls “weaponised imposter syndrome” to composition and production.
The workshops are a collaboration between Film Fest Gent and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Ghent (KASK) and are aimed at fellow composers, (film)music or sound design students and other screen music professionals, to better understand the creative bond between filmmaker and composer.
Professionals with a WSA Industry Package will be invited to register, other visitors are required to present a ticket.
