Bongseop Kim

Bongseop Kim is a South Korea–based film composer working across film and screen media. With a background in contemporary classical composition, he is currently a PhD candidate in composition while developing an independent freelance practice in screen music.

In 2025, he won the World Soundtrack Awards Young Composer Award, and his orchestral score was performed live by the Brussels Philharmonic at Film Fest Gent. His work focuses on the relationship between sound, image, and narrative, and he is particularly interested in cross-disciplinary collaboration and international projects. Bongseop is currently seeking to expand his practice within the global screen industry.
