World Soundtrack Awards Gala & Concert
Since establishing the World Soundtrack Academy, Film Fest Gent has presented the prestigious annual World Soundtrack Awards for film music. The winners are announced during the World Soundtrack Awards Gala and Concert. At the concert, Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Maestro Dirk Brossé, performs a selection of music by the guests of honour and the recipient(s) of the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Discovery of the Year before.

VIDEODROOM is the annual musical date between Kunstencentrum VIERNULVIER and Film Fest Gent. It is a surprising cross-pollination between film and music that gives film classics a make-over. Featuring live music and performances, this bold initiative presents the film canon in a new, experimental light, offering a fresh perspective on the classics and in the process creating an unforgettable experience.
