Who will follow in the footsteps of Jerskin Fendrix, winner of the 2025 Discovery Award with his debut score for Poor Things? And who will be crowned the next Film Composer of the Year? As a WSAcademy member you can submit your scores and those of the composers you represent for consideration up until 15 June.

Honouring not only the future but also the past of film music, we are proud to present British composer Michael Nyman as WSA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. His influential work, and the work of his American counterpart Philip Glass, will be celebrated at the concert 'Minimalism in Motion: Glass, Nyman and Beyond'.

Lifetime Achievement Award for Michael Nyman

No other than the British composer Michael Nyman (The Piano) will be honoured at the concert 'Minimalism in Motion' that will close this year's WSA Film Music Days. Like Philip Glass, whose participation was previously announced, he won't attend, but he will be present through the maximal impact of his minimalist music.

Submit your scores for the 2025 WSAwards

before 15 June

Until 15 June, you can submit your scores and those you love for consideration for the WSAwards Film Composer of the Year, Television Composer of the Year, Best Original Song and WSA Game Music Award. Submissions for Discovery of the Year and Belgian Film Composer of the Year are open for composers regardless of WSAcademy membership.

Pre-register for the WSA Industry Packages

The WSA Industry Packages give acces to the complete programme of the WSA Film Music Days, on the days you attend, and can include accommodation and airport pick-up. Pre-register now via info@worldsoundtrackawards.com. WSAcademy members receive a 100 EUR discount.
