Film Fest Gent and the World Soundtrack Academy are proud to reveal the first wave of nominees for the 26th edition of the World Soundtrack Awards. From award-winning icons to genre-defying innovators, the nominees cover a wide range of musical styles and film genres. Discover all nominees for the categories of Film Composer of the Year, Television Composer of the Year and Best Original Song below and on our website.

The second round of voting has started. To cast your vote, log into your MyFFG account and navigate to the WSA Voting tab. Here, all categories available for voting will be listed. All members of the WSAcademy can vote in these 3 categories: Film Composer of the Year, Television Composer of the Year, and Best Original Song. The second voting round will determine the winners in these categories. Once you've made your selections, click SUBMIT to confirm your vote in each category. The deadline is 15 August 2026, 23:59 CEST.
