Film Fest Gent is proud to reveal the programme of the WSA Film Music Days, from 8 until 10 October. For three days, film composers and industry professionals from all over the world gather in Ghent to exchange creative ideas, gain insight into the currents of the industry, and celebrate the art of film music. The Film Music Days offer a wide range of events, from panel talks, masterclasses and workshops, to a meet and greet with the nominees and the yearly Ceremony & Concert. Headlining are Trevor Jones, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Volker Bertelmann and Edward Berger.

World Soundtrack Awards nominees

The World Soundtrack Academy also announced the second wave of nominees, in the categories Discovery of the Year, Public Choice Award, WSA Game Music Award, and Belgian Film Composer of the Year (powered by Sabam). This round celebrates emerging young talent as well as established artists in a wide variety of genres. All nominees for this year’s awards have now been announced. On Saturday 10 October, the winners will be announced at the WSA Ceremony & Concert.
