Networking event for professionals in the film music industry
Each year Film Fest Gent organises the WSA Industry Days: the networking event for both young and established international film (music) professionals to get insight into new developments, to be part of inspiring discussions and to meet colleagues in the field.
The Industry Days consist of various masterclasses and panels, where guest speakers discuss what is going on in the international film music industry, teach students about production or composition techniques and talk about the relation between film composer and director. During these sessions, there is ample time for questions and during the break, professionals have the opportunity to speak with each other about their ideas on film music and the industry.

This year, it is time to meet Nainita Desai, who impressed the world with her original music for the documentaries For Sama and The Reason I Jump. With a few Netflix, HBO and BBC documentaries in the pipeline, Film Fest Ghent will once again present a composer on the verge of a big breakthrough.
