InMICS is dedicated to students, who graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (or equivalent), highly skilled, as well as individual, creative, critically aware, innovative and professional in their approach.

InMICS is an international master’s degree programme in composition for visual media, created in 2018 by 4 European (Belgium, France and Italy) and Canadian institutions and 4 professional organisations active in the audiovisual sector.
This 2-year programme gives students the chance to hone their knowledge and skills, share their talents, and develop their own personality and projects within an international and professional environment.

InMICS offers a international experience to students: each of them studies at 2 of the 4 partner institutes, and receives a double Master’s degree upon completion of the programme.
The 4 institutions delivers a different teaching approach to composition for visual media:
Conservatorio GB Martini Bologna: Electroacoustic Composition for Screen
KASK & Conservatory (HOGENT) in Ghent: Composition for Animation, Documentary and Video
CNSMD de Lyon: Scoring for Screen
Université De Montréal’s Faculty of Music: Composition for Video Games 

The selection of the next student group will start in November 2019.
The admitted students will enter the programme in September/October 2020.

The InMICS Composers Lab sessions are organised by and take place at the three partner festivals: Film Fest GentFestival International du Film d’Aubagne and the Krakow Film Music Festival.
