Celebrating its 10th anniversary The World Soundtrack Academy will present Barry with a Lifetime Achievement Award, their most prestigious honor. Due to an unforseen medical condition John Barry regrettably cannot be present to accept his award. John Barry became immortal thanks to his soundtracks for no less than 11 Bond films. The Bond themes became one of the most well-known of all times. But John Barry is not only known for his compositions, he is also famous for the perfect way in which he integrated these songs.
