Lucy Bright started out at Mute Records in 1996, spending four years working with artists such as Nick Cave, Depeche Mode and Sonic Youth and avant garde composer Simon Fisher Turner who scored Derek Jarman’s films.

She then moved to Warner Records for six years working in the classical division and overseeing the film score releases such as ‘The Hours’ (Philip Glass) and ‘Requiem for a Dream’ (Clint Mansell). She managed Michael Nyman during a particularly exciting period (2006-07) when he worked on James Marsh’s Academy Award-winning documentary ‘Man on Wire’ which led her to collaborate with Nyman’s publisher Music Sales, a company she then joined full time in 2008, overseeing an extraordinary roster of film composers including Gabriel Yared, Alberto Iglesias, George Fenton, Jocelyn Pook, Philip Glass, Dustin O’Halloran, Hauschka, Alex Heffes, David Julyan, Joby Talbot, Hildur Gudnadottir, Ludovico Einaudi, Tan Dun and Zbigniew Preisner. She has also music supervised many films including ‘Slow West’, ‘Assassin’s Creed’ and ‘Marjorie Prime’.
