Film Music Industry Packages

Film music professionals have the opportunity to apply for a film music industry package and participate in the VIP music programme of Film Fest Gent.

This package not only includes airport pick-up and accommodation in one of the official festival hotels, but also gives access to all the music events of the festival as VIP and gives the chance to experience unique networking opportunities.

Packages include

* Transportation Brussels Airport / Hotel / Brussels Airport
* Accommodation at one of the high-class official festival hotels
* Festival accreditation (access to the press and industry film screenings)
* VIP participation to the music programme (see below) of the festival (1,2, 3 or 4 night stay).

Morning: Workshops & introduction sessions for young filmmakers and composers.

20:00-22:30 Ciné-concert 'Gosses de Tokyo' aka 'I Was Born, but...'

10:00-16:30 Film Music Seminar

Film Fest Gent annualy organises the Film Music Seminar in collaboration with the University College Ghent, School of Arts and curated by dr. Martine Huvenne. Year after year, famous and important professionals of the film music industry teach participants about film music or sound design.

21:30 World Soundtrack Awards Celebration Dinner

Annual World Soundtrack Awards Celebration Dinner with all attending WSA performing artists, nominees and many other film music professionals.

11:30-14:30 Press Conference: Q & A + Meet & Greet with WSA 2016 composers + Lunch

Patrick Duynslaegher and Dirk Brossé invite the performing artists of the 16th World Soundtrack Awards Gala for a Q&A. Film music fans get the opportunity to meet the composers afterwards. Read more on the Meet & Greet

Lunch offered by the Province of East-Flanders. Together with the jury, composers and international guests.

Film Music professionals can apply to participate to the music programme by filling in the application form below and sending it together with CV, biography and/or filmography through the application form here below before 15/09/2016. If files are too large you can always send them to Sophie Joos, sophie@filmfestival.be via wetransfer.

Please note that Film Fest Gent reserves the right to decline applications without motivation and that places are limited.
